An important change in leadership has taken place at Nurol Teknoloji. As of September 1, 2025, Mr. Selim Baybaş, who has served as our General Manager and Member of the Board of Directors since 2019, has handed over his position to Ms. Serpil Gönenç Dinçer, who has been serving as our Deputy General Manager since 2018.Over the past six years, not only our processes but also our products have reached groundbreaking achievements. Next-generation solutions providing superior protection have been developed, and hundreds of thousands of products have been successfully delivered to security forces in both domestic and international markets. These achievements have not only increased the survivability of personnel in the field but also enhanced the global visibility of Nurol Teknoloji’s engineering capabilities.In 2023, we took critical steps in our strategic growth journey. With the establishment of Nurol Technology USA, we entered the world’s largest defense market and began delivering solutions to U.S. security forces within a short period. In Europe, we strengthened our vertical integration strategy by acquiring Germany’s long-established ceramic powder producer IndustrieKeramik Hochrhein (IKH). As part of IDEF 2025, a Phase-2 contract for the Ballistic Protective Vest Project has been signed between the Presidency of Defence Industries and Nurol Teknoloji.Ballistic vests and plates for the personnel of the General Directorate of Security will be manufactured using lightweight and high-durability materials at Nurol Teknoloji’s fully national and domestic production facilities.This project will not only enhance the operational effectiveness of our security forces in the field but also contribute to the sustainable local production vision of the Turkish defense industry.

Nurol Teknoloji and the Presidency of Defence Industries Signed Phase-2 Contract for the Ballistic Protective Vest Project

Nurol Teknoloji introduced Armor Integrity, a next-generation situational awareness system developed for land, air, and naval platforms, at the IDEF 2025 International Defense Industry Fair held at the Istanbul Expo Center.Developed entirely with domestic engineering capabilities, Armor Integrity is designed to enhance the safety of armored vehicle crews and support effective decision-making in high-threat operational environments. Serving as an intelligent security layer, the system instantly analyzes whether a hit has occurred, the direction and number of threats, the impact on the armor, and the level of penetration—providing users with real-time information.Thanks to high-precision sensors integrated into the armor surface and advanced algorithms, the system can determine the direction, intensity, and angle of ballistic threats while also assessing the armor’s current resilience and remaining service life.With its modular architecture, Armor Integrity can be seamlessly integrated into land, air, and naval platforms, as well as manned and unmanned systems. It also operates in full compatibility with existing command and control systems. By processing data from multiple sensors through sensor fusion, the system delivers layered and meaningful analyses of battlefield events. Nurol Teknoloji Deputy General Manager Serpil Gönenç Dinçer shared important insights about the company’s expansion into the U.S. market in an interview with Anadolu Agency during the IDEX 2025 exhibition in Abu Dhabi.Dinçer stated that with the establishment of Nurol Teknoloji’s U.S. office about two and a half years ago, significant progress has been made. Five of the company’s products have successfully completed the certification process at the U.S. Department of Justice laboratories. As a result, twelve U.S. companies have licensed these products, enabling Nurol Teknoloji’s solutions to be used by the U.S. Army and police forces.She also emphasized that, in addition to ballistic protection solutions, Nurol Teknoloji is among the limited number of companies worldwide engaged in ceramic powder production. Highlighting the strategic acquisition of the majority shares of the German company Industriekeramik Hochrhein (IKH), Dinçer noted that this move has further strengthened Nurol Teknoloji’s position in advanced technical ceramics.Dinçer underlined that the company is also developing new hybrid and boron carbide-based solutions that are lightweight, multi-hit capable, and resistant to high-level threats, with product launches expected within a year.
