Bulletin
Dear Stakeholders,
As we enter the second half of 2026, global security challenges are changing fast and technology competition is stronger than ever. At Nurol Teknoloji, we are moving forward confidently thanks to our strong manufacturing power, focus on R&D, and growing global reach. The past few months were about much more than just meeting business targets; it was a period where we truly lifted our expertise in advanced materials and ballistic protection above international standards.
Our high-performance ceramics and integrated armor systems drive our strength in global markets and support our national defense goals. As a clear sign of this quality, we are very proud that our Kahramankazan Ballistic Test Laboratory has become Türkiye's first facility accredited by TÜRKAK under the new NIJ 0101.07 standard. This globally recognized laboratory does not just test our own advanced ceramic and composite armor solutions; by sharing this facility with other companies, we are helping the entire defense industry grow together.
We put innovation at the center of everything we do—not just in our products, but also in our production technologies, digital projects, and daily processes. Moving forward, we will use data even better to make right decisions and keep our work perfectly aligned with global market needs.
At a time when international teamwork and shared production capacity are more important than ever, we brought our vision directly to the global stage at the NATO Summit Defence Industry Forum in Ankara. On July 7, 2026, at the ATO Congresium, I joined the strategic panel titled "Boosting government and industry partnerships to rearm the Alliance." There, we shared our ideas on the main topics shaping the future of defense production. I truly believe that our high-tech capabilities and secure supply chain will bring great value to international partnerships and the shared goals of the Alliance.
I hope you enjoy reading this new edition of our newsletter. I want to thank all our team members and business partners who continue to carry the Nurol Teknoloji name to new success, both in our country and around the world.
Best regards,
Serpil GÖNENÇ DİNÇER General Manager
Sustainable Growth in a Changing Environment

The first half of 2026 proved to be an exceptionally challenging period for the global defense supply chain. Ongoing conflicts across multiple regions, escalating trade tensions among major economies, and sudden geopolitical developments simultaneously placed significant pressure on supply chains, logistics networks, and access to critical raw materials. Across the industry, delivery delays became increasingly common, contract revisions emerged as a recurring issue, and reliability in customer–supplier relationships evolved into one of the most decisive competitive differentiators.
As Nurol Technology USA, we successfully navigated these market disruptions while preserving and strengthening our position in the industry. Thanks to Nurol Technology’s vertically integrated structure and the organizational preparedness established over many years, sector-wide disruptions were managed effectively, and all of our commitments were fulfilled without compromise. The close coordination among our procurement, product development, international logistics, and project management teams enabled us to maintain stability and continuity across our operations.
Throughout this period, we remained more than a supplier capable of meeting existing obligations. We continued to serve as a strategic solutions partner, sustaining our innovation capabilities while responding rapidly to the evolving needs of our customers and business partners. Our substantial production capacity translated into tangible value during this quarter, allowing us to accommodate fluctuations in demand and urgent requirements without disrupting our production schedules.
We also achieved significant milestones in technological development. As part of our product development programs aligned with the NIJ 0101.07 standard, conducted through the close collaboration of our engineering teams in the United States and Türkiye, two of our products successfully completed certification testing, while three additional products entered the official testing phase. At a time when this new and demanding standard has become the market benchmark—and when industry-wide failure rates exceeding 70% have been widely observed—our products have been among the first solutions to successfully demonstrate compliance. This achievement is a strong reflection not only of our technical expertise, but also of the robustness of our R&D infrastructure, manufacturing discipline, and quality management systems.
In summary, throughout 2026, Nurol Technology USA has demonstrated its ability not only to adapt to changing market conditions but also to transform these challenges into competitive advantages and measurable value for its stakeholders. Leveraging the operational agility provided by our vertically integrated structure, our advanced product development capabilities, and our customer-focused strategy, we remain committed to advancing our vision of being “America’s Best Solutions Partner” in the years ahead.
Best Regards.
Nurol Technology USA Team

2026 First Half: Digital Transformation in Procurement and Supply Chain

In the first half of 2026, alongside planned material purchases, intensive efforts were carried out to negotiate commercial terms and prepare contracts for investment items under the Global Supply Chain (GSC) incentive program.
In addition, within the scope of cost reduction initiatives, alternative product development activities were conducted for strategic materials. Product trials were carried out, and the results were shared with suppliers, contributing to the development of alternative products and supplier sourcing processes. Products deemed suitable were added to the material portfolio in line with target values following ongoing negotiations.
During the same period, in line with digitalization objectives, enhancements continued for SAP MM and SLC modules, and the go-live processes were successfully completed. In the first quarter of the year, participation was also made in the EnforceTac and Ceramitec fairs to closely monitor sectoral developments and establish a basis for new collaborations.
In this context, studies were also conducted in cooperation with the Digital Technologies Directorate on an AI-based bid comparison and analysis project. The initial draft of the project was reviewed, and necessary feedback was shared with the relevant department based on evaluations. As the procurement function, efforts continue to effectively utilize digital applications and advanced analytics solutions in line with the contribution of technological developments to process efficiency.
The SLC supplier management system enables end-to-end management of supplier processes, bringing evaluation, approval, performance, and risk tracking into a centralized and transparent structure. Work related to module selection was completed in October 2025. Subsequently, within the implementation process at NT, more than 10 sessions were held between 05.01.2026 and 05.06.2026 to establish the conceptual framework. The SLC module went live on 08.06.2026.
In parallel, the IPM module was introduced with the aim of digitizing operational processes and executing them more efficiently. System requirements have been tested, and in the upcoming period, improvement and development activities for IPM usage will continue alongside Phase 2 developments of the SLC system.
In the second half of the year, cost reduction-focused initiatives will continue with the same determination. In addition, procurement processes for investment items under the GSC framework will continue in line with the plan. Within the procurement function, sustainable improvement is targeted across key KPIs, including cost optimization, supplier performance enhancement, improved delivery compliance, and ensuring supply continuity.
Best Regards,
Seda ÇELİK KODAL / Procurement Manager

Nurol Teknoloji: Strengthening in the Global Market and Expanding Exports

We conclude the first half of 2026 as a period in which the targets set in 2025 have been successfully realized. During this period, while maintaining our position as Türkiye’s leading company, we continue to take justified pride in our integration success achieved through the use of R&D, production, and advanced technologies in line with the spirit of the times, with a focus on innovation, excellence, and the creation of new business areas.
As a result of the business development activities accelerated in 2025, we have significantly expanded our global customer portfolio in the first half of 2026, further strengthening our presence across different product groups and markets.
With the implementation of the TKY-BKY project signed with the Presidency of Defence Industries in 2025, we have successfully completed the first deliveries of the project’s optional quantities to our security forces. In parallel, we continue our efforts in line with our goals, driven by the responsibility of providing the highest level of protection to our armed forces and law enforcement agencies.
One of the milestones of this year has been the export of our first vehicle armour project. This reference project has enabled us to reach a level where we can meet diverse and challenging customer requirements across different markets. By ensuring timely and flawless deliveries for the increasingly diversified and growing project and product demands of our domestic partners, we are also building solid reference steps toward achieving sustainable success in export markets.
In addition, following the decisions of the Defence Industry Executive Committee in February, our proposal processes for ballistic protection applications across land and naval platforms are ongoing.
As a result of our established presence in export markets, and as part of our business development activities particularly in Europe and the Middle East, our proposal processes for ballistic protection solutions in military naval projects continue.
In this context, Nurol Teknoloji demonstrates that it is not merely a conventional armour manufacturer, but a company with the capability and vision to develop new defence concepts in a rapidly evolving battlespace. Within this scope, our business development activities with stakeholders for ballistic protection solutions against unmanned land, sea, and air systems continue intensively.
In line with our 2026 objectives, our new investments and production lines at our facility are enabling us to further expand both our product diversity and customer portfolio in the structural composites segment. In this relatively new field for our company, the experience and capabilities gained during this period have reached a level sufficient to meet customer requirements and high-volume orders.
As part of our business development activities for potential projects—one of the most critical responsibilities of our department—we have completed a highly intensive period in the first half of 2026, participating both as exhibitors and visitors in fairs across various regions, covering mainly raw materials, personnel, and vehicle product groups. At IAV, WDS, ENFORCE TAC, CERAMITEC, DSA, SAHA EXPO, and EUROSATORY, held in the United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, Germany, Malaysia, Türkiye, and France, we had the opportunity to showcase all our capabilities and manufacturing strength to both existing and potential domestic and international partners.
Throughout this year, a total of 46 corporate meetings, visits, and conference participations have significantly enhanced Nurol Teknoloji’s visibility in both domestic and international markets. Active participation was also ensured in leading industry platforms, including the Maritime Security Centre of Excellence in Istanbul and the NATO Counter-Improvised Explosive Devices Centre of Excellence (C-IED COE) in Madrid.
One of the most important milestones for our brand visibility in 2026 will be the NATO Summit Defence Forum, to be held in Ankara on 7–8 July, where our General Manager, Ms. Serpil Gönenç Dinçer, will be among a limited number of Turkish defence industry executives invited to speak on a panel. At this forum, we will have the opportunity to present Nurol Teknoloji’s views on NATO–industry cooperation.
Best regards,
Sales, Marketing & Business Development Team
