An important change in leadership has taken place at Nurol Teknoloji.
As of September 1, 2025, Mr. Selim Baybaş, who has served as our General Manager and Member of the Board of Directors since 2019, has handed over his position to Ms. Serpil Gönenç Dinçer, who has been serving as our Deputy General Manager since 2018.
Over the past six years, not only our processes but also our products have reached groundbreaking achievements. Next-generation solutions providing superior protection have been developed, and hundreds of thousands of products have been successfully delivered to security forces in both domestic and international markets. These achievements have not only increased the survivability of personnel in the field but also enhanced the global visibility of Nurol Teknoloji’s engineering capabilities.
In 2023, we took critical steps in our strategic growth journey. With the establishment of Nurol Technology USA, we entered the world’s largest defense market and began delivering solutions to U.S. security forces within a short period. In Europe, we strengthened our vertical integration strategy by acquiring Germany’s long-established ceramic powder producer IndustrieKeramik Hochrhein (IKH). The combination of Turkish engineering and German technology has positioned Nurol Teknoloji as a competitive global player with production capabilities in Europe.
Our commitment to excellence is certified by internationally recognized standards such as AS9100, YYS, and AQAP 2110, while our inclusion in the state-supported TURQUALITY® program marks a significant milestone in our global branding journey.
Looking ahead, building on the strong legacy left by Mr. Selim Baybaş, and under the leadership of Ms. Serpil Gönenç Dinçer, the first female general manager among the defense companies of Nurol Group, Nurol Teknoloji will further strengthen its capabilities in innovation, sustainability, production capacity, and human resource management—continuing to contribute to Türkiye’s defense industry and reinforcing its pioneering role on a global scale.
Ms. Serpil Gönenç Dinçer holds a bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from Middle East Technical University (METU), a master’s degree in Industrial Engineering – Systems Management from METU, and an Executive MBA from Bilkent University. Throughout her career, she has served in various engineering and managerial positions within the defense industry. Since joining Nurol Teknoloji in 2018 as Deputy General Manager of Commercial Affairs, she has played a vital role in our growth journey with her leadership in strategic projects, contributions to business development, and vision for corporate transformation.
