Dear Stakeholders,
As of September 1, 2025, I have officially assumed the role of General Manager of Nurol Teknoloji. It is a great honor for me to take over this important responsibility from Mr. Selim Baybaş, who successfully led our company for nearly six years, contributing significantly to both our growth and our recognition on the global stage. During my tenure as Deputy General Manager, I had the privilege of working closely with him and witnessing his visionary leadership—an invaluable guide for me. The projects launched, the investments made, and the international achievements secured under his leadership have provided us with a strong foundation on which we will continue to build. I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to him and emphasize my commitment to carrying his legacy even further.
Nurol Teknoloji is a pioneering technology company that proudly represents our country in the defense industry by delivering innovative and reliable solutions. Looking ahead, we will continue to strengthen this vision by increasing our R&D investments and advancing across a wide spectrum—from ballistic protection systems to advanced composite materials, from cutting-edge security technologies to global partnerships. Our mission is not only to meet today’s needs but also to develop solutions that anticipate the security requirements of the future.
In this context, our strategic plans through our subsidiaries, IKH in Germany and Nurol Technology USA, will play a key role in our growth in the coming period. By combining IKH’s engineering and production capabilities with Nurol Teknoloji’s expertise, we aim to create a powerful synergy. Meanwhile, through NT USA, we seek to foster closer customer relationships and establish a stronger position within the U.S. defense ecosystem.
As we approach the end of 2025, our final international defense exhibition of the year-Milipol 2025-carries particular significance for us. Taking place in Paris this November, it will be an important opportunity to showcase our products and technological capabilities to our international stakeholders. We see this exhibition as a vital step toward reinforcing our global presence. It is with great pleasure that we invite you to visit us at Hall 5, Stand S-084, between November 18–21.

Leading the Global Market with Our Next-Generation Armor Solutions
The year 2025 marks a significant period of advancement in armor technologies for Nurol Technology. In the first half of the year, we successfully completed the development of our next-generation STANAG Level IV armor package. Having passed rigorous qualification tests, this new armor package stands out in the industry by achieving a 10% weight reduction compared to previous versions.
To enhance production efficiency, we developed numerical powder compaction models in ceramic plate manufacturing, significantly reducing production losses. These models optimize pressing parameters, aiming to boost both quality and cost competitiveness. This simulation-based approach is expected to shorten prototype production times considerably in 2026.
Process optimization studies conducted in 2025 enabled us to achieve notable weight gains without compromising ballistic protection performance. By retaining our existing material compositions and solely optimizing production parameters, we achieved up to 15% weight reduction in personal protection products.
Our work on developing plates compliant with NIJ 0101.07 RF1/RF2/RF3 standards is progressing rapidly. At the PASS exhibition in September 2025, we introduced the world’s lightest NIJ RF2 plates, weighing only 1.49 kg—30% lighter than competing products. Throughout the conference, we engaged in productive discussions with both domestic and international potential customers.
Moreover, with the introduction of next-generation B4C/SiC hybrid ceramics in a 60/40 ratio, we have surpassed previous records in our product portfolio. This composite structure combines the exceptional hardness of boron carbide with the toughness of silicon carbide, setting new benchmarks in both ballistic performance and weight optimization. Its superior resistance to armor-piercing ammunition has propelled us toward our goal of developing lighter personal protection solutions at high protection levels. The synergy of this new material and our optimized processes formed the foundation for the 1.49 kg NIJ RF2 plates showcased at PASS 2025.
In the final quarter of 2025, we aim to transition our developed technologies into serial production. Integration of our modular armor solutions for both domestic and international platforms will commence. In line with our export targets, certification processes for the European and U.S. markets are ongoing. As we prepare for 2026, we plan to expand our R&D team to accelerate work on hybrid armor systems and composite materials.

Armor Integrity: The Next-Generation Situational Awareness System Developed by Nurol Teknoloji
Nurol Teknoloji is ushering in a new era for armored platforms with its Armor Integrity system. While traditional armor solutions provide only physical protection, Armor Integrity enhances operational safety by delivering instant situational awareness after an impact.
Through high-precision sensors integrated onto the armor surface, the system detects bullet or shrapnel strikes. It identifies the direction, intensity, and exact location of the impact, while instantly informing the operator whether the armor has been penetrated. As a result, vehicle crews not only receive answers to the question, “Have we been hit?”, but also to “From where, with what force, and with what level of damage?”
One of the system’s most remarkable features is its ability to calculate the armor’s remaining protection capacity. After repeated impacts, the system determines which areas have become vulnerable, enabling smarter maintenance planning. This reduces logistical costs while significantly improving the safety of deployed units.
Capable of being used on land, air, and naval platforms, Armor Integrity can also be fully integrated with command-and-control centers. Real-time alerts allow tactical decisions to be made more quickly and effectively.
Nurol Teknoloji unveiled Armor Integrity—developed entirely with domestic engineering expertise—for the first time at the IDEF 2025, where it attracted considerable attention from visitors. This strong interest demonstrates that the technology is ready to meet the needs of both the Turkish Armed Forces and international markets.
With Armor Integrity, Nurol Teknoloji delivers not only a competitive solution for Turkey but also a globally viable technology. Constantly monitoring the “health” of the armor, this innovation stands out as an intelligent shield that enhances survivability in modern combat environments.

With this awareness and commitment to excellence, our company has been certified by DQS (German Management Systems Certification Body) according to DIN ISO 9001:2015, and our team successfully completed the certification audit conducted in July 2025.

In addition to targeted energy savings, our 2025 investment plan focuses on optimized specification management, production planning, and manufacturing processes to further enhance efficiency and sustainable profitability.
Aligned with Nurol Teknoloji’s strategic growth plan, IKH and IKH USA continue to strengthen their global market presence in 2025. With reorganized structures, advanced systems, a strong corporate culture, and robust market strategies, we maintain our leadership position. This model allows us to leverage speed and capacity advantages to respond efficiently to customized customer demands while upholding the highest quality standards.
In the first nine months of 2025, IKH successfully shipped products in various configurations to 22 countries and 81 customers. With a broad and effective product range, we continue to proactively meet customer requirements and usage conditions. This approach demonstrates our ability to anticipate changing needs and provide solutions that deliver both trust and value, fostering long-term collaborations with our clients.
Our global expansion as IKH and IKH-USA also presents significant opportunities for integration with Europe-based companies’ international operations. The experience gained in the market through our custom formulations for Thermal Barrier and Metal Spray powders, Technical Ceramic Powders, and Technical Ceramic Products strengthens our strategies for other global markets. Additionally, our supply chain, supported by global partnerships and robust infrastructure, ensures minimal impact from today’s market volatility.
While continuing to differentiate ourselves in existing markets, our effective initiatives in entering new markets, positive feedback from trade fairs and industry events, and the successful results achieved are clear indicators of IKH’s commitment and determination to global growth.
