Research Collaboration between SUNUM and Nurol Teknoloji in Ballistic Protective Products

Sabancı University Nanotechnology Research and Application Center (SUNUM) and Nurol Teknoloji have signed a strategic collaboration agreement with the aim of accelerating the research and development (R&D) efforts in ballistic protective products. This collaboration is envisioned to contribute to the development of the country's defense industry needs through domestic and national capabilities. The signing ceremony took place at SUNUM and was attended by Selim Baybaş, the General Manager of Nurol Teknoloji, and Prof. Fazilet Vardar Sukan, the Director of Sabancı University Nanotechnology Research and Application Center, along with their teams.
The two-year collaboration encompasses various aspects, including the development of project programs, allowing Nurol Teknoloji to use SUNUM's laboratory facilities for its R&D activities, joint applications for European Union project calls, conducting collaborative research, and other cooperation matters.
Selim Baybaş, the General Manager of Nurol Teknoloji, expressed his belief that this collaboration agreement will pave the way for significant and beneficial R&D projects that will advance the defense industry in the country.
